PARAMIN BLUE DEVILS

Blue Devils is one of the traditional art forms of Mas dating back to the Camboulay Roots. While the exact origination of the art form can’t be pinpointed it is still heavily portrayed on Carnival Monday in the village of Paramin. Masqueraders adorn themselves with blue, black, or red paint and revel to the frenzy of oil and tin drums during a clash of the bands set in the Northern Range village.

Whether you like to be covered in paint, mud, powder, oil or all of the above, come and enjoy revelling like a true Trini. The bacchanal starts on the road in the early hours of Carnival Monday morning, as you party behind the vibrations of Calypso and Soca music trucks until daybreak.
